This year’s Member Celebration is November 30^th from 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM, at Fleming’s by Crabtree Valley Mall. Open to members and guests, this reception is also an opportunity to meet, mingle, and make connections with area business owners and business leaders.

Special Remarks from Olalah Njenga, CEO, YellowWood

Olalah is appointed to the NCWorks Commission and holds the designated commissioner seat representing North Carolina’s 900,000+ small business owners. In this governor-appointed roles, which she has held under two governors from two different political affiliations, she advocates for small business initiatives through the North Carolina Department of Commerce and the North Carolina Workforce Development System. In 2023, Olalah was honored by J.P. Morgan Chase as a 100 Women To Know In America and she was named as the Lewis Shattuck Small Business Advocate of the Year by the National Small Business Association. Considered a trusted source, Olalah’s media credits include BBC, NRP, New York Times, Marketplace, Fox and local affiliates of CBS, NBC, and ABC.
